Sky News host Peta Credlin says she’s seen ‘plenty’ of government ministers ‘defeated’ by the process of Canberra, by ‘unelected officials’ who ‘hold things up and drown action in delay’. Ms Credlin says ‘activist bureaucracies’ and ‘other politically correct entities’ think the wellbeing of Australians should play ‘second-fiddle’ to non-binding agreements and views of the United Nations. She says bureaucrats end up making decisions that should ‘only rest’ with politicians that you can vote in, or out, rather than public servants that can almost never get the sack.
