Housing Minister Michael Sukkar has urged first-home buyers to take advantage of the upcoming government loan scheme. The Coalition’s First Home Loan Deposit Scheme, which will launch next year, will allow first-home buyers to purchase a house with as little as a five per cent deposit. Mr Sukkar says buyers will not ‘regret’ entering the market, which he says is expected to grow.
