A man has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences after a car crashed into barriers outside of the Houses of Parliament in London yesterday. British police say they are treating the crash as ‘a terrorist incident’, but maintain there is no further threat to the UK. Counter-terror officers have today conducted raids on addresses in the Midlands following the collision. Witnesses say the 29-year-old deliberately drove into a number of cyclists before he crashed into the police barriers. Two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while another man was also treated at the scene.
