Supplied footage obtained on February 21, 2019 of former foreign minister Julie Bishop announcing her decision not to contest the next federal election. Bishop says there have been many women who have expressed an interest in running in her seat of Curtin and leaves the seat in a winnable position for the Liberal party as she expects the government to be returned. She also says it has been an honour to serve three prime ministers in her cabinet roles and be the first woman to contest a Liberal leadership ballot. In August 2018, after a turbulent week in the Liberal Party that concluded with the end of Malcolm Turnbull's prime ministership, she tried for the top job which eventually put Scott Morrison in the role.(AAP Video/Supplied/ParlView) NO ARCHIVING, EDITORIAL USE ONLY
