At least eight dead as wildfires rage in northern California

At least eight people have been confirmed dead as raging wildfires tear through homes and bushland in northern California. Two firefighters are among those killed in the natural disaster which has forced thousands to flee their properties in the week since the flames first sprung up. Thousands of firefighters are now on the grounds working to contain the blaze with hopes crews are now starting to get the upper hand.
