August 31, 2018. Real estate agents walk down Melbourne's Yarra river, with some of the men symbolically donning heels, as part of an annual Walk a Mile in their Shoes march to raise awareness and money to end domestic violence. White Ribbon Australia chief executive Tracey McLeod Howe, who received funds raised by real estate firm Harcourts on behalf of the charity, says the money will be used to educate children about domestic violence. Harcourts Victoria chief executive Sadhana Smiles says as real estate agents they often see the impact of domestic violence first-hand and it is why the organise the annual fundraiser.
