Business Brief: Housing market showing signs of improvement

Australian economist Stephen Koukoulas says the housing market in Sydney and Melbourne is showing signs of improvement. Speaking to Sky News on Tuesday, Mr Koukoulas acknowledged Australia was ‘negotiating a low point’ in the market, but was confident it was on its way back up. ‘We do know that new supply of housing is drying up, building approvals are starting to decline and our population is growing strongly,’ Mr Koukoulas said.
