Sondland’s testimony in Trump’s impeachment inquiry was ‘confronting and dramatic’

Sky News contributor Bruce Wolpe says the latest day in Trump’s impeachment inquiry was “very confronting and dramatic”. Mr Wolpe told Sky News Gordon Sondland said he was “acting at the direction of the president and said there was a quid pro quo of Ukraine ordering the investigations that President Trump and Rudy Giuliani wanted into the Bidens, the Demorats and Ukraine”. “The Democrats see this as being iced and locked in," he said. “The Republicans though conceded nothing unless there is tape of the president himself ordering these things. "They’re going to continue defending the president and are not buying into the impeachment narrative that’s been woven in the intelligence committee.” Image: AP
