A severe weather warning is in place for parts of Sydney as strong winds and hazardous surf conditions are forecast. Gusts of up to 90km/h are expected across the city and the Illawarra, with heavy rainfall already drenching the region. Almost 50mm of rain has already fallen in Bellambie and 40mm in Western Sydney.
