A warehouse containing ammunitions exploded outside Zarqa, Jordan, in the early hours of September 11, authorities reported. “Minister of State for Media Affairs Amjad Al-Adaileh said an explosion occurred in a warehouse of unsuitable mortar bombs east of Zarqa belonging to the armed forces, the Arab Army”, a Google-translated media report shared by Jordanian police said. The explosion was caused by an electrical short circuit in the warehouse, which was located in an isolated and uninhabited area, the report said. There were no deaths or injuries, according to the statement. Footage of the explosion uploaded to Twitter shows the explosion lighting up the night sky. Credit: @Abdallahawwadd via Storyful
