Hurricane Zeta made landfall in Cocodrie, Louisiana as a Category 2 storm on October 28, with the eye of the storm reportedly moving over New Orleans. Footage uploaded to Instagram by @ymcmb_menace shows sheets of rain lashing the New Orleans skyline. “Made It to a hotel in downtown New Orleans at the Hyatt and I was stuck on the elevator for 20 minutes way on the 18th floor,” wrote @ymcmb_menace.
