Demonstrators March to ‘Count Every Vote’ in Reading, Pennsylvania

“Count Every Vote” demonstrators marched through Reading, Pennsylvania, on November 6 for the second rally this week in response to President Donald Trump’s call to stop counting mail-in ballots across the state. Make the Road Pennsylvania, an organization serving Latino communities in eastern Pennsylvania, was joined by other local community groups as they headed to the Berks County Services Center to demand that every vote be counted, according to local news reports. Joe Biden won more than 75 percent of votes in Philadelphia County’s precincts with high concentrations of Latinos, according to the University of California’s Latino Policy & Politics Initiative. Footage of protests across Pennsylvania have continued to show “Count Every Vote” protesters opposing Trump supporters who call out “stop the steal.” Biden led Trump by 14,500 votes in Pennsylvania as of 5.25 pm.
