The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) captured footage of Tropical Storm Eta on Tuesday, November 10, as it moved along the Gulf of Mexico. The storm was expected to make landfall in Florida early Thursday, bringing heavy rainfall and winds, storm surge and isolated tornadoes. The National Hurricane Center’s advisory at 4 pm on Wednesday warned of a “life-threatening storm surge along portions of the Florida Gulf Coast” that evening. The notice came after Eta downgraded into a tropical storm. The first clip released by the NOAA shows a NOAA mission aircraft flying towards the sunset. The second clip was filmed on the same aircraft flying near Eta’s center of circulation. Credit: NOAA via Storyful
