Raucous Bills Fans Celebrate Buffalo’s First AFC East Title in 25 Years

Thousands of fans met the Buffalo Bills in the freezing cold early on Sunday, December 20, after the team clinched the AFC East for the first time in 25 years, reports said. Rob Pugh shared this footage from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) as fans of the team awaited the players’ return from Denver. Fans can be seen jumping and cheering in close proximity, some without face coverings. Shortly after 1.30 am local time, the Buffalo Bills plane landed in Western New York to a horde of fans waving flags and cheering. Players shared footage from the runway of the reportedly thousands of “Bills Mafia” fans. The Bills beat the Denver Broncos 48-19 on Saturday, resulting in the team’s first AFC East championship victory since 1995. Credit: Rob Pugh via Storyful
