Sports Reporter and Cameraman Held Up at Gunpoint Outside Stadium in Guayaquil, Ecuador

Sports reporter Diego Ordinola and his photographer were held up by a masked gunman while filming in front of the Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha soccer stadium in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on February 12. The suspect pointed a gun at the two and demanded they give him their phones. The victims gave chase and filmed the man riding away on the back of a motorbike. “We can’t even work quietly, this happened at 1:00 p.m. today outside the Monumental Stadium.
