Texas Mom Tackles Man Suspected of Peeping Into Daughter’s Bedroom Window

A Texas mother tackled a man suspected of staring into her daughter’s bedroom in Lake Jackson – in the Houston metro area – on January 31, with police dashcam footage capturing her bringing the suspect to the ground. Footage provided to Storyful by the Lake Jackson Police Department shows the mother, identified by local news reports as Phyllis Pena, tackling the man onto the pavement. A police press release said officers had responded to a call concerning a suspicious male who had allegedly looked inside the window of a house. Upon the police’s arrival, the suspect had fled from officers before being stopped by Pena, who held him down as police took him into custody.
