The 400-metre-long cargo ship the ‘Even Given’ has finally been freed by tugboats after nearly a week blocking one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes and is being inspected for damage. The Suez Canal is open again and the backlog is starting to clear but it will be some days before shipping on the vital waterway returns to normal.
