Energy Minister Angus Taylor says "there are already instances of people refusing to accept flatulence from cattle" in the agriculture industry despite technology leading to reduced emissions across the economy. "We want to see continued investment in our all-important export industries... the irony of what you're seeing is these industries are reducing emissions in our customer countries," he said. "It's important we continue to see that our coal is cleaner than competitor countries and we continue to see investment in these all-important industries. "The nature of our exports will change over time; it always has, it always will, but we want to see that continued investment and - we as a government - will do all we can to attract it."
