Perth and the Peel region have exited lockdown as planned after no new community COVID-19 cases were recorded in Western Australia. Some restrictions will remain for the next four days and Premier Mark McGowan has warned the state could be locked down again if more infections are uncovered. A mask mandate, the four-square metre rule for businesses and restrictions on aged care visits will remain in place until Saturday. Mr McGowan said "this step-down approach will give us confidence to begin to get back to normal while we wait for further testing."
