Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada experienced its first major snowstorm of the season on Thursday, December 9, turning parts of the province white. Video filmed by Andre Beyzaei shows heavy snow falling south of Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland on Thursday. Environment Canada issued special weather statements for eastern Newfoundland, the Bay of Exploits, and the Connaigre region, forecasting heavy snow and rain for Thursday.
