Tsunami warnings for waters off Australia's east coast have all been lifted. The Bureau of Meteorology cancelled warnings across New South Wales and Queensland last night, saying the main tsunami waves have now passed all expected locations. Victoria and Tasmania have also been cleared - with no tsunami threat detected. It comes as beaches across the states were closed yesterday - following a volcanic eruption near Tonga on Saturday. Tsunami threats have lifted but a hazardous surf warning remains in place for the New South Wales coast due to ex-tropical Cyclone Cody.
