US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has tested positive for COVID-19. Ms Pelosi is fully vaccinated and is currently asymptomatic, according to a spokesperson. She appeared unmasked at a White House event on Wednesday with President Joe Biden. The 82-year-old Democrat has cancelled her weekly press appearance and postponed a planned trip to Asia.
