One of the men responsible for the 2002 Bali bombings is due to be released on parole, after serving just half of his 20-year prison sentence. Umar Patek was due to be extricated next January, however he was granted an expedited release on Indonesia's Independence Day. The Indonesian terrorist attack killed 202 people, including 88 Australians.
