Beijing has expressed interest in repairing its relationship with Australia just days before Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and President Xi Jinping are to attend the G20 summit. In a state media editorial published on Thursday, China has regarded Australia as an “important partner for dialogue and cooperation”. The two leaders are expected to meet in Bali for the G20 summit.
