Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has left Manchester United with immediate effect. The club wrote in a statement on Twitter that Mr Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by “mutual agreement, with immediate effect”, and it thanked the footballer for his “immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford”. Mr Ronaldo said farewelled the club, saying he loved Manchester United and the fans but “it feels like the right time to seek a new challenge”.
