‘Double digit move’ for long term interest rates in US

CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski says for the second night in a row in the United States there has been a “double-digit move higher” for long-term interest rates. “What we have tended to see globally is bank stocks have been the beneficiaries of that,” he told Sky News Australia. “We’ve also seen commodities move higher because the US dollar has weakened a little bit, and that’s been supportive as far as commodities which could put our market in a better stead today.” Presented by CommSec.
