African leaders have called for an end to the war in Ukraine at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg. The delegation, led by South African President Cyril Ramaposa, seeks a peace process to end the conflict, which has weighed heavily on their economies. A day earlier in Kyiv, the leaders called for de-escalation on both sides.
