New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is about to become the second sitting modern world leader to give birth while in office. The 37-year-old is currently in labour with her first child at Auckland City Hospital. Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters will now take over as the country's acting leader, but Ms Ardern says she will be consulted on all major decisions during her six-week maternity leave.
