The bodies 11 people have been discovered in a home in Ciudad Juarez, a city close to the US border. The government in the northern state of says the eight men and three women are homicide victims. The tragedy comes days ahead of a visit to the region by president-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador for a series of forums aimed at eliminating the country’s high rate of violence.
