Twelve schools have been bombed and set on fire overnight in a northern Pakistan district. No groups have yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but Taliban-linked militants opposed to female education are thought to be behind the attack. Pakistan's Prime Minister-in-waiting, former cricketer Imran Khan, has condemned the 'shocking' attacks on schools.
