The US military has taken two British men into custody who were allegedly involved in Islamic State's execution of western hostages. The American military took the men into custody to prevent their escape amid fears Turkey's operation could allow Islamic State to re-establish a foothold in the region. The pair were part of a British cell dubbed "The Beatles", which became infamous for a series of videos in which Mohammed Emwazi beheaded western hostages. Image: Getty
