Wallaby mother ‘infiltrated’ Folau’s father’s church

The mother of a rising rugby star has been identified as the woman who 'infiltrated' a church run by Israel Folau's father. Helen Petaia has admitted she exchanged messages online with Folau's cousin and used a fake name to press the 20-year-old student about the beliefs of the church. Israel Folau's cousin was let go from his role at a Catholic school days after speaking out against the Church's teachings. Josiah Folau, 20, who was employed casually at St Gregory's’ Catholic College in Sydney, was quoted as saying the Catholic Church was the “synagogue of Satan”. Some of the messages had been leaked to a newspaper, which led to the 20 year old being sacked from his job with a Sydney Catholic school.
