Bloomberg ‘haunted by racist and sexist’ comments

Columnist Miranda Devine says the next Democratic presidential debate in Nevada "will be absolutely fascinating” because it will be “Michael Bloomberg’s first outing”. Ms Devine said Mr Bloomberg "has somehow managed to get up to number two in the national polls,” despite it being his “first entry into the boxing ring”. She said the result was largely “because of his money", adding “he has spent reportedly about $420 million of his own money so far just in advertising”. “Because he is now seen as a threat, everyone has now just tipped all this opposition research on the table and he’s now haunted by all sorts of racist and sexist things he has supposedly said in the past," he said. “He is not the most charismatic person, he’s not warm and so I think this is in a way make or break for him.”
