Adelaide Airport new virus hotspot after 11 baggage handlers test positive

Adelaide Airport has become a coronavirus cluster after 11 baggage handlers were confirmed to have the virus along with two family members of one of the workers. South Australia’s Deputy Chief Health Officer said authorities were working to keep the outbreak contained and perform contact tracing on all those who may have been in contact with infected people or areas. Testing criteria for the virus has been expanded to include those with symptoms who have visited the hospital in the last 14 days. SA Health has added 300 staff to its contact tracing team as case numbers surge with SA claiming the highest testing rate in the world with more than 15,000 tests per million people. Image: AP
