Befit Training CEO Ben Ezekiel says the fitness industry has been forced to undergo a massive transformation amid the coronavirus pandemic and government restrictions. “We were given less than 24 hours to close our doors,” Mr Ezekiel told Sky News. Despite gym doors closing across the country, the fitness professional said it was “really important we keep moving, more so for mental health than anything else”. “The big message today is ‘social distancing’, and I think we’ve got to be careful with how we phrase it,” he said. “I think ‘physical distancing’ is a bit better use of the phrase. “I know we’re all in isolation at the moment, but I think it’s important we all stay connected.”
