Virgin Australia has requested its shares be suspended from the ASX for the next seven days or until it makes an announcement regarding financial assistance. Virgin has requested a $1.4 million bailout from the government but Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said the government was not interested in the deal and instead urged the company to negotiate with its shareholders.
