COVID-19 has thrown the education sector “in the deep end” but educators and students are doing a “remarkably good job” adapting to the changes, Allan Dougan, the Global Head of Education at 3P Learning, says. Mr Dougan said research by 3P at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic found 16 per cent of teachers were not confident using technology to deliver learning, but that figure has since dropped to seven per cent. “Surprisingly, we’ve been able to achieve much more than probably we thought before,” Mr Dougan said. “In doing that we’ve enriched the learning experience.” Mr Dougan told Sky News now is the time for the sector to reflect on the landscape.
