An exhaustive study has hailed London as the world's most internet-friendly city, beating out Tokyo, Paris, Singapore and New York for the top spot. The study looked at download speeds, average cost of data, the number of free wifi hotspots, the number of restaurants with free wifi and 5G coverage. Sky News contributor Stephen Fenech said the reason Australian cities didn't make the list was largely due to the "high cost of internet relative to other countries around the world and the general size of our cities".
