Sky News contributor Peter Switzer says he hopes the Department of Treasury is right when it forecast 850,000 jobs would be back by mid-July. He said the Treasury prediction was much greater than the Boston Consulting Group's, which predicted only 570,000 jobs would be back by December. "They're two very different reports. Gee, I hope Treasury is absolutely on the number and Boston Consulting Group's wrong because that would make for a much slower recovery of the economy," he said. Meanwhile, Mr Switzer said he didn't believe the government's $688 million HomeBuilder scheme would work because the majority of Australians will be unable to access it. Image: News Corp Australia
