Evacuations were ordered for residents near Azusa in Los Angeles County after a wildfire threatened homes on August 13. The fire had grown to 600 acres by around 4:30 pm local time after being first reported at 2:45 pm. Residents of the Mount Cove Community were ordered to evacuate by Azusa Police.
