Timelapse Shows Rapid Growth of El Dorado Fire Near Yucaipa, California

Timelapse footage of the El Dorado Fire shows it quickly expanding in scale near Yucaipa, California on September 5. Video of the fire, taken by Twitter user @nik_muk, shows thick smoke plumes expanding over the area. The uploader wrote: “15 min timelapse from 25 acres in a drainage to 400 acres upslope.” CAL Fire San Bernardino issued evacuation orders for the communities of Oak Glen, Mountain Home Village, Forest Falls, the Yucaipa Bench area, and the eastern portion of Yucaipa.
