Prince Charles’ charity accused of taking ‘blood money’

Families of 9/11 victims have criticised Prince Charles’ charity after it was revealed it reportedly received $AUD1.7 million from Osama bin Laden’s kin. Family members told the New York Post that Prince Charles may have taken "blood money" to fund his charity. “I’m personally surprised that anyone would take blood money connected to the person responsible for murdering 3,000 lives,” Monica Iken, whose husband Michael Patrick Iken died on 9/11, said. “It’s shocking and makes my skin crawl … I will never go to England. I thought they were our allies but I would not support what he supports.” It comes come as The Sunday Times reported Prince Charles met with the al Qaeda founder's half-brother Bakr in London in 2013 – and allegedly agreed to accept $AUD1.7 million.
