Electric vehicles in Australia's eastern states produce more carbon dioxide emissions than regular petrol vehicles, according to a new report. The ABMARC report also revealed $7 billion in upgrades would be needed to achieve Labor's promise to make 50 per cent of new car sales electric by 2030.
