Farage ties Morrison’s election win to "revolt on the right"

August 10, 2019. Nigel Farage of the Brexit Party speaks to an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Sydney. Mr Farage talks about how a “revolt on the right” brought about the Brexit vote in the UK, swept Donald Trump to Power, changed the face of Italian politics and led to Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s election win. “These remarkable victories have happened for generally conservative-minded movements… there has been a revolt on the right,” Mr Farage says. “Existing parties themselves have either changed, adapted; recognised that actually there are different thoughts and feelings in the middle of their countries that exist at the centre of their capital cities… or there have been new political movements,” Mr Farage says. “And this has all happened because what purported to be conservative parties… actually were nothing of the kind.” (AAP Video/Michael Wade)
