Qld Ambulance gives evidence about the distress from residents when Earle Haven closed

Supplied footage obtained on August 5, 2019 counsel assisting Ms Zoe Maude speaking to the Royal Commission Aged Care Quality and Safety at a hearing in Brisbane about Earle Haven Retirement Village that closed on July 11, 2019 after a dispute between it’s owner People Care and it’s contractor care provider, Help Street. Giving evidence is Cary Strong from the Queensland Ambulance Service about his role moving residents from the facility to other age care facilities or hospital. He cites an elderly 92 year-old-lady who was very distressed at being moved. (AAP Video/Supplied/Royal Commission Aged Care) NO ARCHIVING, EDITORIAL USE ONLY
