Residents of Australia’s southeastern states were bracing for a weekend of severe weather on August 9 as a series of cold fronts were forecast for the region. The Bureau of Meteorology issued a series of weather warnings for bitter cold, strong winds, snow and blizzard conditions for the southeastern states. The weather system was forecast to be the worst of the Australian winter so far this year. This footage was shared by Thredbo Resort in New South Wales.
