There’s no "concrete proposal" for US Missiles in Top End

The federal government is being urged by the US to allow ground-based missiles to be based in the Top End. US Defence Secretary Mark Esper describes the move as “an era of great power competition” with the nation taking aim at countering the expansion of China’s rising influence in the Pacific. Liberal MP Tim Wilson told Sky News his focus is on securing the nation, our best interests, and to work with allies and partners, “whether it is going down this path or not.” Image: News Corp Australia
