US President Donald Trump has been met by mass protests in Texas after two mass shootings at the weekend. The President touched down in El Paso on Wednesday local time to pay his respects following an attack at a Walmart store that claimed 22 lives. His arrival followed a visit to Ohio where nine people were gunned down in a separate incident at the weekend. President Trump’s visit was met with a mixed response as protestors rallied in both states. Some protestors argued the President's rhetoric has contributed to ongoing violence by fuelling hatred in the country. Image: AP
