Two guards have been suspended from the New York City prison where Jeffrey Epstein died of suspected suicide. The FBI opened an investigation into his death a day after the Attorney General criticised the jail's failure to monitor the disgraced financier. Guards were ordered to check on him every 30 minutes, but details have since revealed he was not checked on for several hours before being found unresponsive in his cell.
