Donald Trump has been acquitted by the Senate of obstructing Congress and abusing the power of his office as president. The vote brings to an end only the third presidential impeachment trial in US history and comes in the early days of the beginning of the president's re-election campaign. Senators voted 52 to 48 to acquit on abuse of power and 53 to 47 on obstruction of Congress. Senator Mitt Romney was the only Republican to vote against President Trump. Image: AP
